Using Pidgy

You may use Pidgy only in compliance with applicable laws and the rules of any connected service. You are responsible for your accounts, your device, and actions you take after Pidgy opens a source application.

Read-only connections

Pidgy's Gmail integration is read-only. Pidgy may organize, summarize, search, or derive tasks from messages, but it does not send or modify Gmail. Other integrations may have different capabilities that will be disclosed before you authorize them.

Beta and AI-generated output

Pidgy may be offered as beta software. Summaries, classifications, suggested actions, and extracted tasks can be incomplete or wrong. Review source material before relying on an output, especially for financial, legal, medical, security, or time-sensitive decisions.

Optional managed service

Some AI features may be available through an optional paid managed service. Pricing, limits, and renewal terms will be shown before purchase. You may cancel future use of a managed service; fees already incurred are non-refundable unless required by law.

Open-source software

Code distributed under an open-source license remains governed by that license. These terms apply to Pidgy services, hosted features, accounts, and distributions that are not separately governed by an open-source license.

Third-party services

Pidgy interoperates with services such as Google, Slack, and Telegram. Those services are operated by third parties and have their own terms and privacy practices. Pidgy is not responsible for third-party availability, changes, or content.

Acceptable use

You may not use Pidgy to violate others' rights, access accounts without permission, distribute malware, evade service limits, interfere with the app or its infrastructure, or attempt to extract another user's data.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, or service plans. We will try to provide reasonable notice when a material change affects a paid service, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pidgy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pidgy and its creators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, loss of data, lost profits, or actions taken based on generated output.

Termination

You may stop using Pidgy and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend access to hosted or managed services for abuse, security risk, non-payment, or violation of these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to pratyush@pidgy.chat.
